Aircraft owners planning avionics purchases or upgrades should review quotes and timing before Garmin’s year-end pricing update.
Garmin has notified authorized dealers that updated aviation pricing will take effect December 21, 2026. Customers considering a panel upgrade, autopilot, display, audio panel, weather radar, traffic system, or related installation should have RWAS review current pricing and availability before the change.
What is changing
Garmin has advised authorized dealers that updated aviation pricing will take effect December 21, 2026. Much of the primary aviation catalog is included. Many list prices will move to simpler rounded amounts, while selected products will receive larger adjustments because of increased material, shipping, and labor costs. Portable and wearable products are excluded from the new rounded-price structure at this time.
Equipment categories to review
The update reaches several categories commonly used in certified and experimental aircraft projects, including flight displays, autopilots, GI 275 instruments, engine indication components and sensors, weather radar, traffic systems, datalink equipment, audio panels, and selected integrated flight deck kits and upgrades. The exact impact depends on the equipment and configuration in a specific quote.
Timing for aircraft owners
Garmin states that orders placed on or after December 21 will use the new pricing. Owners who want current pricing should work with RWAS early enough to confirm aircraft eligibility, equipment availability, installation scope, and order timing before December 20. An estimate or discussion alone does not reserve equipment or pricing.
Ask RWAS to review your project
RWAS can review an existing quote or help build a new avionics plan before the change takes effect. Request a quote with the aircraft model, serial number, current panel configuration, and project goals so our avionics team can verify applicable equipment and provide current customer-facing pricing.
