Garmin is inviting pilots, aircraft owners, and aviation enthusiasts to its 2026 Aviation Fly-In and Open House in Salem, Oregon, on Thursday, September 17, from 3–7 p.m. Registered guests can tour the facility, see avionics demonstrations, attend seminars, enter prize drawings, and enjoy dinner.
A Rare Look Inside Garmin Aviation
Have you ever wondered what it takes to design, test, and bring modern avionics to the flight deck? Garmin’s Salem open house offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the people, technology, and work behind the aviation products that ultimately reach the aircraft panel.
For pilots and aircraft owners following the latest developments in retrofit avionics, including Garmin’s new AXIS flight display system, this is an opportunity to see the scale of engineering and development behind the equipment.

Flying In or Driving?
Pilots flying to Salem Airport (KSLE) should plan for Garmin’s facility on the east side of the airport. Garmin associates will direct arriving guests to ramp parking.
Guests driving to the event can park at the Garmin facility at 2345 Turner Road SE, Salem, Oregon.
Please note that Garmin does not permit photography or video during the event or facility tours.
