The samples pictured here began as aluminum sheet. Using our in-house UV printer, Roger Wilco Aviation Services printed detailed carbon-fiber, mahogany, teak, leather, and abstract-art appearances directly onto the metal. They demonstrate how a conventional aluminum panel can become a distinctive part of a cockpit design.

The Modern Look of Carbon Fiber

For owners planning a modern glass-cockpit upgrade, a carbon-fiber pattern can give the panel a crisp, technical appearance. The fine weave shown in our sample illustrates the detail our UV-printing process can reproduce across the aluminum surface.

Because the pattern is printed, it can be incorporated into a broader panel design that may include equipment labels, placards, borders, logos, or other graphics appropriate to the project. The carbon-fiber appearance shown here is decorative; it does not convert the aluminum into a structural carbon-fiber component.

The Warmth of Mahogany and Teak—Without a Wood Veneer

For a classic restoration or a cockpit with leather and traditional trim, wood grain can completely change the character of the panel. Our mahogany and teak samples demonstrate two distinct possibilities: deeper, richer tones for a dramatic appearance and lighter grain for a warm, refined finish.

These are printed wood-grain representations on aluminum—not wood veneer. That gives us the freedom to tailor the artwork, scale, color, grain direction, and overall composition while maintaining the underlying metal panel selected for the project.

Abstract Art and Leather-Look Finishes

Customization does not have to stop with traditional materials. This sample combines a bright abstract geometric design with a rich leather appearance, both printed directly onto aluminum. It shows how an aircraft owner can move beyond conventional panel finishes and coordinate a cockpit with upholstery, accent colors, exterior paint, a personal design theme, or completely original artwork.

The lower portion is a printed leather representation—not bonded leather—and the upper pattern demonstrates the color and fine detail available for custom artwork. Patterns, colors, scale, and placement can be developed around the panel layout so the finished result feels purposeful rather than applied as an afterthought.
